French Passion Julep

An attractive twist on the famous julep, with the quintessential French brandy – cognac – heightened by the the passion fruit’s sour edge. Because everything in France is done with Passion.


      • 2/3 oz. 1883 Passion Fruit Puree
      • 1 3/4 oz. cognac
      • 2 dashes liquorice bitters
      • 6 mint leaves


      • Put the mint and puree in a julep cup, and muddle slightly.
      • Fill with crushed ice and add the cognac.
      • Stir with a mixing spoon to obtain a consistent texture, top up with ice, and finish with the dashes of bitters.
      • Decorate with half a passion fruit, a liquorice stick and a mint sprig.
